In the video, they performed in a room filled with mirrors and different colored disco lights and at the end they dressed up in Village People costumes. Enjoy!

Guns N’ Roses – November Rain

Posted in 1991, Guns N' Roses, Heavy Metal, MTV Video Award Winner, Rock Ballads, Rock Legends on August 21, 2007 by pelicancup

November Rain by Guns N’ Roses is one of my favorite songs by the band. It’s also a great video featuring Axl’s then-girlfriend, Stephanie Seymour. It’s one of the most expensive music videos ever made coming in at over $1.5 million and it won an MTV Video Music Award for Best Cinematography. It’s from their 1991 album, Use Your Illusion I. Queen – Innuendo

Posted in 1991, British Bands, Queen, Rock Legends on August 20, 2007 by pelicancup

In 1991, Queen released Innuendo, and the first song on the album was Innuendo. It’s one of their longest songs at over six and a half minutes long. An earlier version of the video was banned from the U.S. because it included footage from the first Gulf War and they edited out the war footage for the American video. Enjoy!

Billy Idol – Cradle of Love

Posted in 1990, Billy Idol, Punk Rock, Rock Legends on December 10, 2006 by pelicancup

Billy Idol hit #1 on the Billboard charts with this song, Cradle of Love, which spent it’s first week at #1 on July 28, 1990. While Billy Idol wasn’t considered to be part of the “Hair Band” movement, the new grunge sound coming out of Seattle definitely was affecting his popularity. However, he was able to stay on top for a while by releasing catchy songs like this one that anyone from a teenager to an accountant to a stay-at-home mom would love. Enjoy the video!
